The Neuri are an ancient tribe of Baltic people who worship Tevas Vilkas, the Father Wolf. They venerate this creature as some kind of deity or perhaps progenitor, who came to their tribe in a time of hardship and gave them a gift; the ability to freely shift their forms between that of the canine and the human. They became expert hunters, warriors, and the pure bloodline of the Father was passed down through the Chieftain's family for generations.

Navari is the only daughter of Chief Vadas, and as such is the current carrier of Vilkas' Blood, the only Alpha besides her father. She is bigger, stronger, and her transformation is more pure than other Neuri, evoking the image of Vilkas himself with her wolf shape. Navari is already a great leader and hunter, and is expected to take a husband soon in order to continue the pure bloodline.
